Canadian corporations facing dissolution for non-compliance
Type a company name or a company number. 6,222 corporations facing dissolution, from the Corporations Canada file of 14 October 2026.
Director of a corporation facing dissolution? Its internal data may still have value — see the data of a corporation about to be dissolved. Or a dated record report.
What this is
When a federal corporation stops filing its annual returns, Corporations Canada can start dissolving it, and marks it “Dissolution Pending (Non-compliance)”. This site lists the business corporations in that state that filed an annual return for 2022 or later: the name and previous names, the corporation number, the last annual return, the city and the province.
Who uses it
- Creditors and suppliers — is this corporation about to disappear from the register?
- Directors — is my corporation on the list?
- Closing by choice instead? — see Canadian corporations that filed an intent to dissolve.
What it is not
Not Corporations Canada and not a certificate of status. The corporation can avoid dissolution by bringing its filings up to date, and many do. The register carries no headcount: being listed here says nothing about a corporation's size. The status is the one in the Corporations Canada open file of the date shown; check the federal corporation search for today's.
